Malo lelei from Tonga. We arrived today in Vava"u, another Island of the Tonga Kingdom. It is only 160 nautical miles from the northern group where we departed from. The passage was very slow due to the light winds. We started with 9 to 12 knots but the middle of the passage it got even lighter for awhile. It blew harder later but the direction was not stable. It changed by the minute and the seas were a bit messed up. We are staying here only for a few days to get some fresh veggies, fruit and fuel. There is an internet cafe in town for us to take care of business. We will be exploring a few of the many Islands of Tonga and hopefully we will see the whales. It is the season for them. We actually had a baby come really close to us in Niuatoputapu. Very exciting. Until next time. Aloha to all
