Aotearoa Departure

Kia ora from Aotearoa. The gremlins are still out. Today they were playing with our sateline phone. I spent the entire day troubleshooting the system. There is no immediate technical support here and with the difference in the time zone we have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime I put my "technician hat" on and tried to do the job myself. I was only partially successful and I will have to wake up in the middle of the night to call technical support in the US. We are anxious to leave. The weather here has been rough, tons of wind and rain. If not for the sat phone and minor checks we are ready to leave. Hurray!!!! We have really good crew, happy to be with us, and excited to go to Fiji. Robyn is a deliighful New Zealander girl. Tim is Dutch, happy and easy going.
All the kilometric forms have been sent to the Fiji Ports and 4 other agencies, and to the NZ agencies. We got the food pantry stocked and are gorging ourselves with the NZ delicacies. Tomorrow we are going to do our final shopping trip and wait for the weather. Wish us luck. My aloha to all. Conceico
