Joe left for the coast around noontime. I couldn't go as the hospital that I work for was opening the new wing and my dept was moving over to the new building, thus we all had to work. He arrived, unpacked, ate, and turned in early.

This year the 1st Oriental Boat Show was being held at Pecan Grove Marina. The weather was warm and sunny. There was alot of activity in the marina with many people getting everything ready. Joe replaced the fawcet in the galley sink and then walked around to check out all the booths. We are considering new canvas for Maxine so he was especially interested in the canvas companies. Our friends Lane & Judy stopped by for a tour of Maxine, and several other people stopped by to say hello. It appears the boat show was a big success as it was crowded all day.

Joe got up early for day two of the boat show. It was another warm, sunny day. He did some boat chores, cleaned out the stern cabin as we generally use this for storage, and then went to check out what he had missed yesterday at the boat show. He sat in on a couple of lectures. Even though he didn't get to take the boat out he had an enjoyable weekend. He grilled steak for dinner and packed everything up to head home tomorrow.
