We had an uneventful ride over and arrived mid afternoon. After unpacking and settling in we headed to The Silos for a quick dinner. When we got back there was a pretty little doe over by the bath house. It was a nice cool night and we turned in early.

We got up to another warm, beautiful day in Oriental and decided to go sailing!!! Yeah!!! We headed up the South River. It was a glorious day! We anchored and made lunch then went for a swim off the back. We had a good time watching a mother Osprey feed her babies while we were anchored. She would fly off and they would all squawk until she returned then she would feed them each a little of what she had brought then fly away again. She was beautiful and I loved watching her. The clouds started rolling in and thunder storms were predicted so we headed back around 3p. The storm hit as we were docking but it moved through the area quickly. We had a nice dinner in the cockpit and then went over to talk with the owner of Karolina Dreamin, who is docked next to us. He and his son were heading over to Ocracoke in the morning. Their trip sounds like fun. We are hoping to head over that way on our vacation in October.
Joe has a customer in Florida that was having computer issues at his plant and had been calling us all day. Joe had done all he could do from here, so we will have to go home tomorrow and he will have to head down to Florida. That stinks, but I guess that's how it goes sometimes.

We got up early and headed home. Even though it was a short weekend it was a good one. Til next time....
