Datca is on the southern coast of the Datca peninsular and it's had a bit of a face lift since last year. We've always liked this busy little town but it looks very smart on the waterfront now with the addition of a new wooden jetty to extend the quay.

On the hunt for lunch we bumped into Polly and Phil who left Cleopatra Marina in Preveza a couple of weeks before us and had a couple of drinks with them to catch up and swap passage stories. In the evening we dined with them at Maradonna's where, on the next table, was an extremely famous Turkish TV and film actress and her retinue. Even the major had turned up to see her. I'm not sure who she was but the papparazzi were out in force and all the other diners seemed in awe of her presence. They must have thought we were from another planet as we chatted on regardless.
