Maverick is in D'Escousse

Maverick is safely anchored in D'Escousse, on Ile Madame, in Chadabucto Bay. We are in sight of the St. Peter's Canal which leads to the Bras d"Or Lakes. It is, however, starting to rain. If tomorrow is decent we plan to go to Inhabitants Bay and then through the Canal on Monday. If the weather does not cooperate, we will just stay here for another day. We still have not blown up the dinghy but if we want to visit the very modest Lennox Passage Yacht Club we will have to. We had a great sail today after negotiating the very pretty Andrews Passage and went past Canso. Maverick once again hit 9.6 knots on a beam reach from the southeast.
