There's a huge number of Aussies here in St Maarten, especially on the superyachts so the Sand Bar put on an Australia Day bash for all of us last night and naturally there were all the 'honorary Aussies' from South Africa, New Zealand, Amercia, UK and elsewhere who joined in as well. Ray braved a bigger man in the arm wrestling and took his defeat well and Sam came second in the pie eating contest. He got stuck when he had to down his coke at the end and was pipped by Jim on 'Fantasy'. We danced our feet off the rest of the night and were happy to collapse back in the pool for a cool off. Today was a day for recouperating....it seems to take a little longer these days.
