Can't believe we're going
10 March 2010 | Charlotte Amalie anchorage, St Thomas
The day has finally arrived when Sam and I are leaving Meander after 3 years and it's very sad. Equally sad was saying goodbye to our friends on Argonaut, Tosca, Boundless One, Attitudes and Executive. Our life on the sea is coming to a close...at least for now. We fly out today at one o'clock for Oslo via JFK and Dublin and arrive tomorrow afternoon. We're VERY excited to be seeing Monica, Ole-Johnny, Simon and Ida again after parting from them in Italy back in April. They tell us it's only minus 6 degrees now as their spring approaches...so that's much more civilised and more like our Austalian Alps temperatures. I don't think we're going to freeze to death after all. Next blog will be written as a landlubber from snowy climes of Torpo in Noway.
