Day 1 Galapagos to French Polynesia
09 May 2010 | one day down...only 20 to go!
Guess what? No wind for something new and different
After a great start travelling at 7-8 knots with a perfect 15 knots of wind and a 2 knot current the skipper and crew thought they were going to make it in18 days. That excitement was apparently short-lived and it's reverted to a 'just another crossing' as Ray put it....motoring and looking for wind. They haven't been idle though. Instead they've had a cleaning spree and vacuumed the saloon and cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. The boys, Simon and Irish, have decided to dry out for a few days so no beers...well maybe one.
