Lynn and I are in the final preparations for taking Interlude to warmer waters. The bomb cyclone is not going to stop us! Over the course of the fall we've upgraded our solar charging system and completed required maintenance on our diesel engine. Spare parts have been purchased. We will move onto the boat on Sunday, Jan 7th. Our house/cat sitters arrive on Monday the 8th. We could be on the move as early as Wednesday. Our plan is to make most of our passages offshore when the weather allows. Our plan is to do overnight passages to Charleston, Amelia Island, FL, Cape Canaveral then Ft Lauderdale. From Ft Lauderdale we'll make the jump over to Grand Bahama Island and then spend our time exploring the Abacos.
