Well, we finally left the Encinal Yacht Club the other day (some would say we were kicked out, but we will neither confirm nor deny that vicious rumor), and headed for home. Nope, not Richmond...Napa. After motoring 2 hours up the Napa River, in channels barely wide enough to accomodate our beam, we tied up to the docks in our own neighborhood. Talk about convenient...its gonna be tough now coming up with excuses as to why we can't begin to move aboard.
Our plan is to stay here for a week or 3, and then alternate between here and the Encinal club (hopefully they have short memories). Sounds reasonable...
Re the picture, my spec sheet says the mast is 70 feet above the water, but I personally measured it at one million...I'm not sure why the large discrepancy.
