Wow! Everything worked perfectly in terms of our travel plans and the logistics. I arrived on time at the airport, met Marc at 4:00 as planned and we had Merry Mac tied up at Dimillo's in Portland by 5:30. There was a strong 25 mph SW wind as we motored along right into it but it was a quick trip as we passed a couple of cruise ships docked along the way. Jonathan arrived on time at Logan and showed up with his rental car just before 6:00 pm. We did our shopping and then I loaded the boat while J returned the car at the airport. He kindly searched around for quarters so I could do the laundry and then we met at Luke's Lobster restaurant right at 8:00. We had some fabulous lobster rolls and "closed the place down" at 9:00. By 9:30 we were ready to crash
And enjoy a nice cool September night in Portland.
