We continued on into Ptown with good wind although we had to ‘improvise’ to answer nature’s call. Anyway we made it and tied up by 5:00 and started making phone calls to address our toilet pump issue. No help from anyone local in Ptown unfortunately and the Kingman Yacht Yard service people don’t work after noon on Saturday so we can’t get help there. With the help of Bill Williams and his friend Chris Cannon we got hooked up with the Jamestown Boat Yard near Newport. Andy from JBY was very responsive and agreed to help us replace the pump if we could locate a new one for him. We found one at West Marine in Middletown RI and ordered it over the phone. Another friend, Bob Diserens, who lives in Narragansett, agreed to pick it up for us over the weekend. We were going to have dinner with Diz and his wife Karla anyway on Sunday so we will get the pump then. On Monday morning we will meet Andy at his boat yard at 7:30 to begin the replacement. Hopefully that will be a “quick” procedure and we can head out for New London not too far off our original schedule. 🤞
