More galley storage improvements

Making use of otherwise wasted space in top of cupboard to stow plastic wrap, baking paper and aluminium foil. A hinged shelf that clips back up into space above door.

Orderly oars

Not happy with the bungees with hard hooks flying around when I was undoing oars from roof racks. Made up the attached supports out of some scrap plywood and bits of shock cord. Functional and looks the part.

Teak dirt issue nailed at last

Have been annoyed at how dirty the teak in the cockpit can get. It seems to hold dirt in grain until damp feet chance along to spread it down the side decks. Rather than just being wind blown dirt in the grain of the teak if is actually mould. Sprayed it today with a cheap bleach product from the supermarket and hosed off. The result was immediate and amazing. Now looks like new and didn't have to attack it with abrasive brushes and/or water pressure.

Galley organisation

New storage for those sharp knives that were rocking around in the draw ready to slice a finger. Took care of lid storage while I was at it.

Coffee at Dangar Island

Motored to the coffee shop on the north side of Dangar Island. Anchored off in good holding. The shop also had basic supplies available which we were able to use to stock up for the remainder of the cruise.

Patonga for lunch

Ventured to Patonga for lunch at the pub in the company of Petrouchka. The beach would shoal out quite a way at low tide as we anchored well off the shore in a bout 1.5m under the keel. Protected from NE wind but would be exposed in the south. Would catch a fair bit of swell as well.

Headed back to Coasters Retreat ahead of a rain storm and 30 knot winds.

Returned to Refuge Bay for a walk up to the top of the waterfall.
