I've been off the last five days and was getting bored so I took a trip down to the yard where we keep Midnight Breeze and was surprised to see our chosen name and port had been completed and installed on the boat. By the time we arrived at the yard in Annapolis, Md. it was dark and I had forgot my camera. Good thing Mary is not as forgetful as I am she's come to our rescue several times in the past.
Nothing fancy but very well designed! I've also updated the last blog by uploading a picture of the KATO davit system we had installed. I'll get a better daylight picture soon.
We must have honored King Neptune properly because as we pulled out of the yard we saw the new 3/4 Time had just been delivered. For those of you that don't know 3/4 Time use to be the name of our boat before we purchased it. So the switch from the old to the new went off without a hitch.
We are now ready to start our journey with King Neptune's blessing.
Onward! And don't ever look back!

About: Dave is from the junk food capital of the world--Hanover, Pa. Mary is from Pikesville, Md. We plan to outfit Midnight Breeze over the next 1.5 years while cruising the Chesapeake Bay. We'll then cast off our lines and head south for the adventure we have always dreamed of.
Extra: Join us on our path to retirement. Help us along the way with your ideas and suggestions. And just maybe, somewhere in time we shall meet. To quote a nice phrase..."We are going cruising not to escape from life but to keep life from escaping us." (Betsy Holman)
