Well it's been awhile so a quick recap us in order. We left Stuart for Vero, stayed a week, Vero to Merritt Island anchorage, Merritt Island to New Smyrna City Maruna for 2 days, New Smyrna to Palm Coast and Easter Dinner at Tom and Marti Benz's, Palm Coast to St Augustine, where we will stay for a week and play with Kath and Dan Craig. The only excitement was a storm in New Smyrna that was ni where near as bad as predicted. Places north of there reallt git blasted though! The Benz's hosted us for Easter which is always a treat. Marti is a great cook! The 20 miles up to St A was very pleasant, temps in the low 70's, definately cooler in north Florida this time of the year. We arrived at Rivers Edge Marina at slack tide, which is a beautiful thing as the current ripa through here at times. Last night we met up with Kath and Dan of Majiks fame and had a great chicken dinner cooked in their back yard. Dan and I played darts and then we all relaxed in their hot tub after dinner....great evening reminiscing about our first trip to the Bahamas where we met them. Lots if laughs! Today they gave me a ride to Lowes to get my painting supplies for next weeks bottom painting at St Marys Boat Yard in Georgia.Dylan got a haircut tiday and Donna got a pedicure and I got to wash the boat! I forgot to mention we travelled north with Summer Wind, who are also in St Augustine until the 28th. They also are going to St Marys where they leave their boat for the summer. We will continue from St Marys to Osprey Marina next week. We should be there around May 6 or 7th we hope. But for now more fun and games in St Augustine until next Monday! We love this town!
