J & J from Waterford have come and gone. It was a great 9 days together. We offered to fly back to the states and help them sail their boat to the Bahamas. Hope they find the right boat soon.

S/V Pilgrim arranged a tour of the Southern part of Exuma and little Exuma for 4 couple and a single guy. It was a great trip to see some parts of the island that have changed little in many years. Patrick's family has lived there for 4 generations plus his kids and grand kids.

The rum cake had a cup o rum poured over it as they boxed it up. Lunch was conch fritters, like a crab cake, and a burger with chunks of lobster. Very good.
TofC is lattude were the sun stops and reverses on the first day of summer. I can tell that we are getting more out of the solar panel as we go further South and the days get longer.

Today was change oil in the generator day. What would take 30 minutes tied to dock becomes a couple of hours at anchor. Then a dinghy ride to Exuma Beach Resort, a courtesy ride to town, 2 hours doing laundry, trip to the grocery, and maybe a mile walk back to the boat.
Yesterday we moved to the South of Goat Cay as tomorrow the wind is to be out of the North at up to 30 knots. Not an easy dinghy ride to town from current anchorage.
More company tomorrow for 5 days and the Reggata is over next week. We will head either North or South at that time.
