Apparently, the whole marina is not very deep!

Thursday – we walked into the town of Oxnard and found a StarBucks and got a coffee. The blocks here are very long! It is sad to walk the town and see buildings falling apart! There is indication that this area was booming at one time but was left all of a sudden. There are menus up on the wall but the buildings are rotting! It is sad.
9/30/11 Oxnard, California
Friday – as we were drinking our morning coffee, we had ducks visit us! They were enjoyable to watch. They would take bread from our hands! Breve had a blast watching!!! Later in the day, we took the dingy down the channel to go to the grocery store. It was at least a 25 minute dingy ride! We had lunch at a little fish joint. It was pretty good. We then went shopping at Vons and carried our provisions to the dingy and headed back to the boat. It is surprising how much we bought! In the afternoon, we went over to the weight room and did the equipment. It has been almost 2 months since I have worked out! I do not push myself at all. I really do miss going to class at the gym. I have gained about 10 pounds! Yuck!
