No boat trip is without its “issues!” Since leaving the US we’ve had sone curious electrical system performance. 48V charger/house inverter shutdown (discovered a hidden breaker not shown on any schematic after 3 hours of digging) and low batteries while running at night - put the multimeter on the 48v alternator - deader than a beaver hat. Enter Victor the La Paz electrician who, a few years ago, rewound my alternator by hand because no parts were available. Presently awaiting arrival of a replacement regulator he located coming by bus from Washington. Hoping it arrives today (3/14). It’s an unique alternator and regulator as luck would have it. I did find 1 available in the US in North Carolina which I bought as a back-up that KT will lug down and clear through Mexico customs at the CBX if Victor is unsuccessful. And our music radio went south on us - KT has one of those also tuck away in her luggage.... She is very happy to be my boat parts mule (NOT).
