So what can possibly be better than all of those amazing experiences? Doing all of this with my best friend is the #1 on the list. In the last 10 years we have spent 30 months in Mexico on our boats. All 4 of our trips hold a special place in our heart with the great memories, friends, and accomplishment. But none of that really means much if you're not doing it with a person you adore. Most people who think they know Katie could never imagine she'd be off on a boat in Mexico doing the things she's able to do. Heck yesterday she jumped into the water from the top of the flybridge! Last week she was up at 0530 mopping the dew off our decks to discourage the thirsty bees from their morning swarm. She has operated the boat on overnight runs, set the hook in every anchorage and driven us out of every anchorage or marina since last February. This girl is a boater! After our last trip to Mexico we were pretty sure it was our last but here we are. Neither of us have made any declarations about the future just yet (let's see how the bash goes in a Powerboat before proclaiming what happens next....) but we do know we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this trip!
