Mist is happy to announce the fantastic news that our former sail boat "Infinity" has sold! The sale took place last month in Seattle! "Infinity's" new owners will be keeping her in the Pacific Northwest as far as we have heard. We wish a safe and well- maintained future for "Infinity" as she is a beautiful and seaworthy vessel. We enjoyed sailing "Infinity" for over 5 years and 10,000 miles and are happy she has found new beginning.
Meanwhile, in Seattle, MIST is still being refit in Seattle for a spring departure to the South Pacific in 2010. Anyone interested in communicating with us about the 'crossing' this coming year, we welcome you to contact us to share information follow our journey ...meeting new friends and sharing information with other cruisers is so vital. As time approaches we hope to update our blog more frequently. Most of the Pacific Puddle Jumpers this coming year usually leave from Mexico or Panama and head for the Marquesas. Unlike the majority, we will be crossing from the Strait of Juan de Fuca toward Hawaii, Palmyra, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji then west. We would like to invite one to two additional crew from Seattle to Hawaii. If you know of anyone with offshore experience who might be interested in coming along on this passage, let us know. ...fishing skills are a big plus!
