The final PUSH...

Each day things are getting brighter. Not sunnier, but moral is improving. Systems have been cleaned up and we are heading toward the home stretch on the refit. Living aboard has been fun, as in tripping over ourselves with everything not quite stowed away. 12 hours a day of boat projects. It's overwhleming, but things are getting crossed off the list. Between replacing that old 'thing' and buying spares for 'everything', it is hard to rewrite the expereince in words. BASICALLY it is a lot of effing work that seems never to end, yet progress is obvious when we take a few minutes to look around.
The weather has been horrible. Cold, wind, hail and rain are not inspriring for travel yet we must push on or we will never leave . Seattle is lovely ,but we're exited to get somewhere warm - so we will get a move on things and sail out of here ASAP.
We wanted you to know we were thinking of all of you and hope to have some colorful stories and photos to post very soon. Happy Spring ...our next writing should be after we've sailed 2350 nm from Washington to Hilo. THERE SHOULD BE A TALE or two BY THEN!!!
Until then...we'll see you on the other side!
Regards,
Susan
