What a month for weather in the Pacific Northwest...can we say RAIN...or one low pressure system coming in after another!! Unreal... especially when you want to head to Hawaii or Mexico for a swing in the hammock. It is now Memorial Day 2010 and we sit in the Strait of Juan de Fuca (ok, a little marina) waiting and waiting for the a break in the weather, not that we are that excited to be offshore and seasick either - but there is a price to pay to get to paradise and we are willing.

As soon as the next weather window opens we are into the open sea, yes, bound for Hawaii. We have friends that are sitting in the Hawaiian Islands right now after a rough passage across the Pacific...but they sound happy and we are wanting to join them. So, let us say in about 20-30 days from now we will be eating fresh mangos and sippng fresh guava juice. We all have dreams...OK?!! Have a wonderful June until we speak again.
