Instalingl the electric motor!

I've had "Mistress" here in the Portland area for almost a year now, being repaired and refurbished. Finally it's time to unpack her electric motor and try to fit it in the engine compartment. ( I had sold the original Volvo MD-11C diesel engine to Rod Barber, a fellow Baba 30 owner in Tacoma. Now let's see where we can fit the electric motor!)

I'm replacing her 32-year-old Volvo MD11C diesel engine with an electric motor: 144 volts DC at 100 ampere-hours.

Getting her from the Big Island of Hawai`i to the Portland, Oregon, area on the mainland was its own ordeal.
