MtM/ warm and sunny

Have spent the last 3 nights at Lady Musgrave and what an amazing experience it was. This beautiful little island is enclosed within a reef lagoon, and once we had negotiated the narrow entrance and secured a good holding anchorage we spent time snorkelling, beach and reef walking and catching up with other like minded cruisers. The fish life and coral were excellent and sunny skies and clear water made visibility great. We did have to ride out a 30kn storm on the first night. This had us up on anchor watch for an hour or so and made pulling up anchor this morning a little different as we had twisted around some little Bombies. No real dramas though. This is another tick to the list of places we hoped to get to this trip. We headed off this morning and will spend the next 2 nights in Bundaberg. CC has caught us a nice spotted mackerel for dinner tonight, yippee. Ps this photo shows us entering the reef lagoon on low tide. You can see the port and starboard markers and a boat anchored up inside the lagoon.
