Cornwall

Hot and sunny
DAY 2, July 2nd
Over to the mall to do some grocery shopping, bought a pull along bag to bring the food home in. Cornwall was hosting a huge antique car show, so we wandered around there for a bit, still very hot. Christopher arrived with his friends, gave them a snack and we were off by 14.25.
18.10 arrived at Valleyfield Bridge - 30 min wait out in the current, out the other side, picked up some power boaters whose engine had died, tied them up on the starboard side and towed them to the St. Louis Bridge, we got a green light and straight through.
21.00 On to Beauharnois locks, green light through both - $50.00 - 40' drop - they told us they saw us towing and were watching out for us. Good deeds do work.
22.30 motored through the shallow and narrow channel into the west end of Lac St. Louis where we anchored, very calm, invaded by non-biting bugs. We slept well in calm waters.
