Day 15 - July 15th 2011
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON
We decided to stay another night in Gaspe to unwind and wait for the weather that Christine and Charlie were getting pass through ahead of us. It was good idea as I was able to get my blog on its way, update some photos and do a couple of hours of work with really good internet here in Gaspe. We went off for a walk about noon to get lunch and some groceries, after a cold morning the sun warmed up to about 28o. We filled up with Diesel and then I left the boys on the boat working away on their computers and went off to Canadian Tire to pick up a toaster. Had a very nice quiet evening with a steak and salad dinner. Watched a movie and off to sleep.

Day 16 - July 16th 2011
Up and on the road (water) by 08.00am watched a few seals in the bay as we said our goodbyes to Gaspe, we really enjoyed our stay there. As we approached the mouth of the bay the big rollers started, I have not been out in our boat in this type of water, very exciting but once again the wind was on our nose and very little of it so it was motoring all day. We arrive at Perce about 11.30, it is spectacular, we took lots of photos and motored to the bay and dock area, coasted around while I made soup for lunch then over to Isle Bonaventure and set a course to Miscou Island, long boring stretch mostly read and slept, sailed for a coupe of hours and arrived at the northern point at 18.30, weather still beautiful so decided to carry on. Eventually stopped and anchored at 21.15, a very long day 80 miles.
