Charlottetown
20 July 2011 | Prince Edward Island
Day 19 – July 19, 2011
Today we woke to a brilliant blue sky, showered, washed my hair and wandered around the harbour. Back to boat and then off to get groceries, needed to stock up on canned and heavy stuff. I approached the teller thinking how am I going to get all these groceries back to the boat and Doug appeared out of nowhere to help, bless him. He also found some Mount Gay rum so he was a very happy camper. Very hot today, not like the heat everyone is having back home but definitely up in the 30o, but out here it cools off very quickly at night and is not humid at all. After hiding all the food, amazing where it goes we went for a walk along the boardwalk, such a pretty place, ate ice cream and wandered through the stores. Left the Club at 13.30, we wanted to catch the tide going out. Pinot had three walks today and slept for the whole trip to Charlottetown. Calm water, blue sky, saw a few baby whales after going under the Confederation Bridge and lots of ugly jelly fish. Lovely afternoon, lazing around, sails up, sails down early evening a bit of rain and arrived Charlottetown at 21.00.
