DAY 13 - December 18th 2011- Ottawa -
This morning I have to go home to Ottawa for a few days, will be back on Tuesday. Steve picked me up at 05.15; before I left I had asked Doug for $20.00 for the taxi drive. But when I went to pay Steve, it was Canadian. Oh no! it was OK he said he would get it later that day from Doug, which he did. The flight home today was so easy, although it was three flights the weather was lovely and I was able to see all along the coast and where we had been on our travels. The best part was the New Jersey Coast and New York. I could see exactly where we had been and anchored as the view was so clear. Still cannot believe that we have travelled so far. At Philadelphia I was getting a coffee and standing behind a nun, I thought to myself how sweet she had a typical touristy bag with sea shells and boats on it. As we sat down she got out her IPad, earphones and I could hear and see that she was reading a book and bopping to the tunes. Technology these days are not limited to the young anymore. Got to Ottawa and met by Jason and the girls, so lovely to see them. At home they had all the Xmas lights out, a beautiful tree in the living room and we enjoyed chatting about school and my trip while eating dinner at the Broadway.
