DAY 46 - January 20th 2011 - Nassau - 25 04.523N:077 19.116W
Woke early as the sun came up, sat drinking our coffee watching the boats still spinning, I bet not too many slept last night. We got the anchor up quite early and were off out of the bay by 07.30. Headed out west and then north to Nassau, sail out and engine off another lovely day sailing, actually it was perfect. I did not want to have a bad last sail before heading back to Ottawa. We arrived by 13.30 and filled up with diesel, radioed the marina and found our slip. Took Pinot for a walk and had a chat with a few locals. Back to Moma and stripped the bed and got our laundry ready, three loads, back to pop them in the machines only to find a line up. I have to get it done today, so waited until the machines came free. We decided to go up to the Poop Deck the restaurant here at the marina and we ate some appetizers and had a drink, chatted to Roger who is on one of the day trip catamarans, quite a character. In between I would run downstairs and move the laundry from machine to dryer. Eventually with everything dry went back to Moma and packed my bags. Good night's sleep, nearly finished my third book this week.
