DAY 41 - December 29th 2012- Nassau
Woke to a lovely sunny warm day and coffee on the go, tidied up the boat, Doug took Pinot across the bay to the beach chatted to a neighbour and then came back to get a Puller thing for this guy who was having stuffing box problems. I caught up on my blog and enjoyed the sun while listening to some really good jaz. Checked emails and nothing work wise, hooray everyone is still on holidays. Jack came over and we shared some of our movies, then watched some old Greys Anatomy from the first series.
DAY 42 - December 30th 2012- Nassau
Cold front arrived at 04.00am and boy did it hit, the wind woke me up, watched to make sure that we were OK and Doug noticed a boat dragging and hit another local boat broad side. Doug to the rescue, jacket on and in the dingy in a flash. This sort of thing worries me, the wind is so strong and the waves were getting rougher but he was in his element and eventually after an hour the boat was able to winch himself off and reset his anchor. By now it is 05.30 I went off to sleep and woke later to the wind just as strong. We decided that we were not going anywhere, had a great day in my jammies, watching the boats coming and going. Early dinner and another TV marathon, this is the first day that I have really unwound and relaxed even though we were rocking around on the anchor.
