Pueerto Bahia Marina

23 February 2013 | Samana Bay
Sunny hot and lovely
DAY 96 – February 23rd 2013 – Samana Bay – 19 11.682N:069 21.245W
As the sun rose we were heading into Samana Bay, we had slowed down considerably as we rounded the point, for a change the wind was on our aft starboard, would have been a nice sail but why bother. As we approached the Samana Bay anchorage we decided to do a drive-by through the anchor field. Our friends on Spindrift had made it, not sure when they came in but their dinghy was still up and it was early so everyone was sleeping. We motored on out as we wanted to go the Marina, Misty came in anchored while Kathrian and Moma went on to the marina. WOW what a nice surprise, well not really as I had heard that it was really nice at 0.90c a foot and use of all the amenities, we are living the high life. We spent the afternoon by the infinity pool looking out over the bay trying to see whales. As the sun sets on the marina I am updating my blog, a good day.
