Isleta Marina

14 March 2013
Cloudy, windy and cool at nights
DAY 110 - March 9th 2013 - Isleta
A fun day by the pool with the family and then a party in the apartment with everyone off of Kathrian, Misty and Maggie and a few of our friends from the island. Tyler stayed again and we slept in the apartment. So good to be home, it was a good day.
DAY 111 - March 10th 2013 - Isleta
Family came over again for another day by the pool, Tyler did not want to go home he has taken to the boat like a fish to water and spent all morning cleaning with Doug.
DAY 112 - March 11th 2013 - Isleta
Doug, Jack and Donna went ashore and rented a car while I stayed and worked for a few hours. Internet is now working in my bedroom which is great, I can sit in comfort and spread all my paperwork out and if it is hot can put on the air conditioning. Eventually the others called and I went across on the ferry to be picked up. We went to Walmart, the Rain Forest and over to Kellies farm before heading home before it got dark.
DAY 113 - March 12th 2013 - Isleta
We spent the day in San Juan, dropping Donna off at the airport and then checking out Old San Juan, had lunch and home just as it got dark.
DAY 114 - March 13th 2013 - Isleta
I worked most of the day and then spent a few hours by the pool with Stephanie, they are leaving tomorrow so I invited them all over to Moma for cocktails and we said our goodbyes, we have been traveling with Misty and Maggie since Provo so we shall miss them, but promised to keep in touch. We slept on the boat tonight.
DAY 115 - March 14th 2013 - Isleta
I need to get a few things so we decided to keep the car another day, Michael came aboard for coffee and then Jack and Doug got down to some serious cleaning, the boat has really taken a beating over the last few months, lots of items on the list to do but most of all the stainless is in need of a good clean. We are having a problem finding a home for Moma for the Hurricane season and it looks like we shall have to take her to Tortola, Oh what a shame another couple of days sailing through the Spanish and US Virgin Islands to arrive in the British Virgin Islands. Probably Nanny Cay Marina, we have heard good reports about this marina and also we went there when we charted in the BVI a few years ago. A bit disappointed as I had hoped that we would leave her here in Puerto Rico, but it is not too be. We have to be back in Ottawa the third week in April so next week we shall move
