Isleta Marina

Hot and cloudy
DAY 139 – April 7th 2013 – Isleta Marina –
Off we go on our last leg, left early as the wind was a little down but knew it was going to blow harder in the afternoon. We motored sailed as 4 knots is just not comfy in big waves and swells. Not many boats out today. As we arrived at Isleta Kellie emailed me and said she could see us and was coming downstairs to the wall where she waved and took pictures as we came into dock. As I was helping tie up I dropped the gate pass into the drink and it sunk of course. Now we have to ask a dock neighbour to let us use his pass to let Kellie and Tyler in. After big hugs, we decided to hop over to Palomino for afternoon, had to wait for Mackenzie though. Before we left we spent some time watching a mother manatee with her baby sucking on a hose right here by the side of the boat, amazing mammals. The a very nice sail back to Palomino and ashore for some fun in the sun. Tyler drove part of the way home and then thought that Otto could take over. For some reason the Auto Pilot that was playing up the other day is now working fine. It was nearly dark by now so the family all left to go home and a very tired couple wandered upstairs and fell asleep watching TV.
