Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda
17 January 2014 | BVI
DAY 21 - January 17th 2014 - Leverick Bay - 18 29.895N:064 23.298W
Let go of the mooring ball and headed out into the chop, thought it was going to be a bit less windy but gusting at 17 knots seems to be the norm right now. Once across the Channel we were able to put out the gib and have a nice sail into Gorda Sound. Motored through to the mooring field and anchored in front of Kathrian. Leverick Bay is very pretty, I think it is more popular now that it was a few years ago, everyone would go straight to the Bitter End. Now they have a Pusser's here and the water is spectacular. I managed to get a couple of loads of washing done before heading back to work for a couple of hours. We are going ashore to see the Jumbies tonight and to listen to some good music, I think it is Jazz but not sure.
