DAY 41 – February 6th 2014 – St. Thomas - USVI
Travel day back to St. Thomas, did not want to leave, there is something about being on a deserted island. But Elaine and Jim have to leave also Christine and Charlie are visiting for the day tomorrow. We left Culebrita at 08.30 and arrived at 12.15, wind right on our nose and big waves but OK. Went into Crown Bay marina for diesel, water and a boat wash and then back over to Charlotte Amalie anchorage. Last night so we went ashore and took the $2 taxi up to the University and then back to Crown Bay for dinner and entertainment by Pirates.
DAY 42 – February 7th 2014 – St. Thomas – USVI
I was awake first this morning which is not like me, as I looked out I could see the cruise ship that Christine and Charlie were on. They docked and we went over to meet them, bought them back to Moma and then said our goodbyes to Elaine and Jim. When Doug got back we picked up Donna and Jack and took Moma for a sail. This is the first time we went sailing just for fun, out of the bay and around Water Island and then it was time to take them back to their ship. A great day.
DAY 43 – February 8th 2014 – St. Thomas – USVI
A work day, changed beds, cleaned out cupboards, did some hand washing and then Doug got me hooked up to some internet and he went ashore so I was able to catch up with work and my blog. Not going anywhere just computer work and then called family to chat.
