Saba Rock and Trellis Bay
26 February 2014
DAY 59 – February 24th 2014 – Saba Rock MY BIRTHDAY
Today we came back to Saba Rock just to change the Zip Code and because we can. We anchored in exactly the same spot that we had a month ago. As we left Leverick Bay, Kathrian took up their anchor and passed us pulling ours up, Donna shouted “Pedicure at 2pm Happy Birthday”. How wonderful, the two of us went ashore for 2pm, grabbed a glass of wine and then up into chalets above the Bitter End for pedicures with a view. Very nice, a wonderful memory, then we met the boys back in the bar and then for supper on Kathrian. A lovely day:
DAY 60 – February 25rd 2014 – Saba Rock
The Bitter End has a very nice pool so today we thought we would grab four chairs and chill (again) for the day.
DAY 61 – February 26th 2014 – Trellis Bay –
Donna and Jack had to go back to Nanny Cay to see Alfred the fridge man again and they wanted to get it sorted out before heading across to St.Martin in the next few days. I had been thinking about going back to Puerto Rico to see Kellie and the family so I booked a ticked for tomorrow from Beef Island. A beautiful sail across the Francis Drake Channel, even able to sun on the pointy end for a while, took a mooring ball and headed to shore for supper and then a visit to Da Loose Mongoose which turned into a very fun evening meeting new people from North Carolina.
