DAY 66 – March 3rd 2014 – Isleta
A work morning, up at 6am did not sleep well waiting to hear if they all arrived safely in St. Martin. Worked all morning and eventually heard from Donna that they had arrived at 7am and were now at the bar watching the planes land.

DAY 74 – March 11th 2014 – Casa Del Mar Beach Resort
No internet and no TV so I moved down to the restaurant and used their fast internet, before that I found a bird floating in the harbour, had to rescue him, but don’t think he will survive. Later we packed up and moved back to the condo where Kellie is staying. Had to stop on route for a blue cheese burger at the Brass Cactus.
DAY 75 – March 12th 2014 – Cole Bay - Saint Martin – 18 02.410N:063 05.678W
Kellie dropped me off at the airport and a 35 minute flight and I land in Simpson Bay, Doug is here to meet me with the Dinghy and on the way back to Moma across the lagoon we stopped to meet Heather and Rob. Doug knew Heather over 35 years ago, she recognised him at the bar the other night, a small world. I have not been here for 20 years when I visited Kellie who was living here at the time. It has changed so much, Saint Martin is beautiful, if you have not visited, you should think about it. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches and blue, blue water, many hotels and restaurants on both the Dutch and French side. It was great seeing Donna and Jack again and tonight we went to the dinghy dock, ate onion rings and tried to catch up.
DAY 76 – March 13th 2014 – Cole Bay - St. Martin
I needed to get a sim card for my phone so we went ashore to buy one and also to go and see Philipsburg where all the duty free shops are. We took the public bus and met some people from Toronto. The drive to Philipsburg goes over the mountain and wow what views, would be nicer in our own car and be able to stop to take photos maybe we will rent one later in the week. The beach area is now huge in Philipsburg, umbrellas and beach chairs in the hundreds. There were four ships docked so it was more than busy, we wondered along the boardwalk (made of concrete) and then back along the cobbled streets where all the shops are. It was so hot today we decided to head back to the boat and got on another bus only to meet up with the Toronto people again. This evening we went to the Saint Martin Yacht club to watch the big boat squeeze through
