Il Tintamerre
23 March 2014 | St.Marten
DAY 86 - March 23rd 2014 - Il Tintamerre - St. Marten - 18 07.025N:062 59.361W
We left Cole Bay and headed to Il Tintamerre a protected island that Donna and Jack had told us about, we anchored and headed ashore to let Pinot off for a walk then we left D & J to enjoy the beach and we went back on the boat, the surf here is a little rough and would be difficult to leave the dinghy on shore. Doug went back later to pick them up and as the sun went down we had a great Dolphin display, two pods with at least 3 or 4 in each pod had taken a liking to a catamaran that was leaving. Oh and by the way while Doug was napping earlier in the afternoon I heard a yell and noticed a jet ski running away, its driver had fallen off. Another guy jumped off the boat they were from and started swimming toward the out of control jet ski that is now slowing down and doing circles. I woke Doug and told him he had to do some more rescuing, off he goes but just as he arrived at the ski the swimmer had too and boarded it. I woke poor Doug for nothing but a dinghy ride.
