Bass Strait crossing

After following the weather patterns for a few days we picked our weather window and headed off into Bass Strait. The first day we had a roaring Nor'Easter dead behind us and made some good miles the first day. Later in the night the wind died and we were forced to motor sail until morning. AND THEN.... a 15 to 20 knot Nor'West sprung up and so we raised the spinnaker and had a shy run on unbelievably flat seas down towards the Kent Island group - superb sailing - Bass Strait we all know has bad weather but it also has its good moments.
