You hear a lot of things about a lot of places but one doesn't know what they're really going to like until you check them out yourselves. And this place blew us out. We headed south along Chatham Strait specifically to stop at a place we'd heard about called Warm Springs Bay on the east side of Baranof Island. The falls at the end of the bay were swollen by the heavy rains and the local fishermen said they had never seen that volume of water. The Falls were HUGE. There are a few holiday houses here with a fishing lodge a couple of hundred metres away. We also saw a brown bear walking along the rocky shore in front of the houses.
