Up again early in the morning to make most of the available light and the favourable conditions – no wind but no wind is better than headwind. Just enough light to see the logs floating but the sun was still not above the horizon from the deck of Monkey Fist. The early morning sun had just started to illuminate the snow-capped peaks in the Vancouver Island Ranges to produce this stunning scene.
