Just to give you an idea of some of the storms that come through here in the winter – a few week prior, whilst we had been in Vancouver, a storm with winds from the SE hit southern Vancouver Island and in Oak Bay we saw 10 boats washed up on the beach that had broken their moorings. It must have been very rough.
