MY SWAN SONG
14 October 2014 | SERANGAN ISLAND. BALI
LIL
Four and a half months ago, I started on this journey...and it's hard to believe it's over...but it is. It's been quite a ride. Thanks for sharing it with us. I hope I've been able to give you the flavor of the trip via this blog. The blog was never meant to be a solo performance, but obviously, my powers of persuasion have ebbed and I just couldn't get anyone else to write, despite my best efforts.
Now, it's time to pass the torch to the next generation. The new crew has arrived: Jim, Bruce and Lori, and Acier, and they will be taking the helm and hopefully the update of the blog. Moonbeam will be leaving Bali in the next day or two, headed for Phuket, Thailand. They will clear out of Indonesia in Belitung, and then, depending on timing, they will make some stops along the way. Captain Ken and Jim have time restrictions: they need to be in Phuket on 11/13 so they can fly to Katmandu to do a Habitat for Humanity build with our buddy, Nancy (and a cast of hundreds.)
Selamat tinggal dan sampai jumpa.
