We're here at a full service marina in Corfu and no...we're not having boat repairs. Let's just say we're having renovations and upgrades. For those of you who are joining us this summer in the Med, you'll be delighted to know that the aforementioned 12-inch wide plank we have used precariously for boarding and disembarking has been replaced by a proper passerelle (French for passer + elle), complete with hand rails designed specifically for the Medicare set. (Jim D: we will be referring to it as the 'Jim') If you fall in the drink after dinner, you will have no one to blame but yourself...and that 4th glass of wine. The other 'project' of the day was a new and quieter fridge pump. The prior 'fix' was jury-rigged by the mechanic in Patras. It worked but was too noisy for our tender ears.

Here's the pic. The handrails will be installed tomorrow after FedEx or DHL delivers them. Then you'll see the 'Jim' in all its glory.
