ROB
Early this morning Jens caught a beautiful mahi mahi! It was large enough to feed the entire crew and we were salivating discussing how it should be prepared (I was pushing for lemon butter with capers). As Jens was proudly posing with his catch the damn fish jumped off the hook and dove back into the gigantic aquarium. Jens is no longer smiling as he was in the photo. You just can't make this s--- up.
This reminds me, s--- is also a nautical derivation. Years ago when bales of manure were shipped for use as fertilizer they discovered that it could not be stored in the bottom of the hold, where it was wet. If the manure got damp it emitted methane gas. When some poor sailor on deck attempted to light his pipe - BOOM! They began to labe the bales "Ship High In Transit" which was eventually abreviated to s---.
Fish 11.5, Moonbeam 1.5, Jens' heart is broken.
