Saturday morning dawned after the big welcome party the night before with The Yoti and Lagoon Team cooking breakfast on shore for all the crews.






Lagoon flew in a Video/stills photographer for the event. Who also worked with drones, he was placed on our boat for the sail down to the Saturday party site. This involved me motoring around the fleet at 8-9 knots backwards and forwards. While he took still, video and drone footage.







The photographer wanted to get all boats in shot with the Marina in the back ground. So it was suggested that if they all circled around the photo boat that would be good. Well some did not have there radios on, some had the entire crew on the fore deck while slowly drifting through the fleet and some where just so individual they started by following the lead boat in the opposite direction altogether. From the center of the circle it looked like utter chaos, that eventually coalesced into something that might be construed as a some what circular ring of most boat heading in a similar directions. It will be interesting to see what the shots look like from the Professional Photographer will share them here when ther are done.



The Party at Sue and Greg's House was a huge success, with them cooking up a storm on the BBQ's. The hosts.

It was decided to have blind fold dinghy races (No Motors) setting out the course.



Me and John the manager of TMG Lagoon in front until we had a 720 deg penalty called on us Very unjustly I might add) by the time we had completed 2 full 360 degree turns we where last.

After the sun was setting the day was finally closed with an awesome glass out in the anchorage, with just the odd laugh aboard the many vessels anchored interrupting the peaceful fall of night.











This morning after awaking at 8:20 we have moved because the Southerly change has just arrived a few hours early. Back around to the bowling club for a quiet farewell drink this afternoon. Who knows may just be able to win a bit more meat as well.
