Having found my Skanner 24 at last and now paid for it, the collection day fast approaches. Buying boats however is never a straightforward process. Mor Awel was my second attempt on a similar boat, which in the end required far too much remedial work balanced against the asking price. Thursday was depressing day, Gordon Eddie from Caley Marina rang to say that there was a problem still with the paperwork which might delay the handover - not really what I wanted to hear as the time window I have to move the boat is tight to say the least. Being a nearly boat owner is no fun lets hope that changes fast. Friday got better as Gordon appears to have come good and we are back on for pickup.
