From Salinas we traveled for 80 miles to Fajardo on the North West coast of PR. This place again has everything and at lower costs. For example diesel is 4.10 a gallon and most chain stores are available for shopping.
Here we rented a car and toured the city and also bought boat parts and new material for the ceiling in the boat at very favorable prices.
PR is the place to stock up so far on our trip. While Spanish is the mother tongue most folks speak English.

| About: | The trip of the life time begins. I wonder if it will kill us...5 months or five years. Our 47 foot Jeanneau is to be our home for the next 5 years. At this stage is would be interesting to know what it would be like to spend 24/7 together. |
