Paikea Mist jumps off

At 12:37pm today (March 20th), our friends from White Rock, BC, on the beautiful 50' Beneteau, Paikea Mist, left the docks with great fanfare. A gang gathered to throw off their lines, bleat air horns, and shout good bye and well wishes, and as Andrew's mum would say, "for God sakes, drive off". We wish them fair winds for their 2800 mile journey to the South Pacific and hope to catch up with them for the Tahiti-Moorea Sailing Rendezvous being held on June 18-20th .
